Zenju Earthlyn Manuel Osho, PhD, è erede del Dharma di Zenkei Blanche Hartman, con Trasmissione del Dharma completata da Shosan Victoria Austin. Nel 2012 ha ricoperto il ruolo di Shuso, ovvero Studente Capo, al City Center durante un periodo di pratica guidato dalla ex badessa Kiku Christina Lehnherr.
Zenju è autrice di The Deepest Peace: Contemplations from a Season of Stillness, The Way of Tenderness: Awakening Through Race, Sexuality, and Gender (con prefazione di Charles Johnson), Tell Me Something About Buddhism (con prefazione di Thich Nhat Hanh), con poesie e illustrazioni di Zenju, The Shamanic Bones of Zen: Revealing the Ancestral Spirit and Mystical Heart of a Sacred Tradition e del più recente Opening to Darkness: Eight Gateways for Being with the Absence of Light in Unsettling Times. Ha inoltre contribuito a numerosi volumi, tra cui Dharma, Color and Culture: Voices From Western Buddhist Teachers of Color e Hidden Lamp: Stories from Twenty-Five Centuries of Awakened Women, curato da Florence Caplow e Susan Moon. Zenju Earthlyn ha anche curato Seeds for a Boundless Life, raccolta di insegnamenti di Zenkei Blanche Hartman (1926–2016).
